Job Description

Join our team as a Pet Groomer in Durban! We're seeking an enthusiastic individual with a love for animals. You will be responsible for providing excellent grooming services, including bathing, clipping, and styling pets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all pets are groomed safely and efficiently.
• Assist in maintaining grooming tools and equipment.
• Build positive relationships with pets and their owners.
• Handle and care for pets with different temperaments.
• Document grooming details and updates for repeat clients.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to provide outstanding service.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a grooming apprenticeship is advantageous

Experience

• 1-3 years of grooming experience preferred.

Technical Skills

• Grooming equipment operation
• Knowledge of pet health signs

Soft Skills

• Patience and empathy
• Strong organizational skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Marketing skills: Experience in promoting grooming services and services.
• Basic knowledge of pet nutrition: Understanding of pet dietary needs and health.
