Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our esteemed medical team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of health issues in patients of all ages. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills, a keen sense of empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient symptoms and medical histories thoroughly.
  • Diagnose diseases and create effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct follow-up visits to monitor patient recovery.
  • Document all patient interactions appropriately.
  • Advise community health policies and programs.
  • Involve in research and clinical trials where applicable.
  • Support healthcare quality improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and train junior physicians and medical staff.
  • Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
  • Manage workplace health and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • HPCSA Registration and Certification
Experience
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience in General Practice
