Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Officer to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing community health needs, implementing health initiatives, and promoting healthy lifestyles within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct community health assessments and identify health challenges.
  • Design and implement effective health promotion programs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve health service delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate health initiatives to ensure effectiveness.
  • Facilitate training sessions for community health workers.
  • Communicate health-related information to diverse audiences.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or a related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in public health practice
