Job Description

We are looking for an Actuarial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will analyze data to help assess risks and develop strategies for financial management and forecasting. You'll play a critical role in informing business decisions with your insights.

Responsibilities

• Model and assess potential financial impacts of various scenarios.

• Review and validate data to support actuarial assumptions and conclusions.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to present actuarial analyses.
• Support the development of actuarial best practices within the organization.
• Ensure data integrity through thorough validation processes.
• Stay up-to-date with actuarial advancements and market changes.
• Prepare presentations to convey complex information to non-technical audiences.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• Experience with programming languages (e.g. R, Python) is preferred
