Pharmacist

Job Description

As a pharmacist at Medicines Plus, you will provide exceptional care and advice to our patients while ensuring compliance with health regulations. You will have an opportunity to engage in community health programs and enhance the health of our local community.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess patient medication regimens for appropriateness.
• Participate in community outreach programs and health fairs.
• Train and mentor new staff members.
• Evaluate and document patient outcomes related to medication therapy.
• Stay updated on new medications and pharmacy best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
• Additional certifications in Clinical Pharmacy preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Clinical Pharmacy practices: Hands-on experience in clinical settings, working directly with patients.
• Familiarity with Local Health Regulations: Knowledge of regulations and policies governing pharmacy practice in South Africa.
