Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Underwriter to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will assess risks and determine policy terms to ensure our clients receive the best coverage possible.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full bookkeeping cycle.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage tax compliance and ensure timely submissions.
• Coordinate with external accountants for audits and reviews.
• Track expenses and prepare budget forecasts.
• Ensure financial practices adhere to regulations.
• Assist in financial planning and analysis.
• Prepare detailed bookkeeping notes for transactions.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and insights.
• Engage with clients to ensure satisfaction with services.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Accounting or Finance
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years in bookkeeping or related field

• Financial Reporting

Certifications

• Registered Tax Practitioner (RTP)
• Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sepedi: Basic
