Chemical Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Chemical Engineer to contribute to our projects in Cape Town. This role will involve process design, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that our chemical manufacturing processes meet the highest safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement testing procedures for new chemical formulations.
• Contribute to project planning and budgeting.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Work on sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality raw materials.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a similar field
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry
