Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance our supply chain operations in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics management, and strategic planning to ensure that our supply chain runs efficiently and meets the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure seamless operations.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers and service providers.
• Implement inventory management systems to optimize stock levels.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and forecast supply chain needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all supply chain activities.
• Develop training programs for staff in supply chain best practices.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts related to supply chain operations.
• Coordinate with customer service to resolve supply chain issues swiftly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• MBA or similar is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years in a supply chain or logistics role, preferably in leadership
