Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team in East London. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing construction projects that significantly impact the community. You will be involved in various stages from planning and executing to monitoring and completing projects while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design of civil infrastructure including roads, bridges, and water supply systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed projects.
• Ensure effective communication between all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate project performance and implement necessary improvements.
• Utilize innovative engineering solutions to meet challenging project requirements.
• Prepare and present project updates to management and clients.
• Facilitate training and workshops for team development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on design and construction.

Languages

• English: Fluent
