We are seeking an experienced Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team in Durban. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to our patients, ensuring the highest standards of practice and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care with empathy and respect.
• Collaborate with doctors and specialists to create care plans.
• Assist in medical procedures and examinations when necessary.
• Evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Document all nursing assessments and interventions accurately.
• Participate in patient and family education programs.
• Engage in research to enhance nursing practices.
• Support a culture of safety and respect within the workplace.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling and reporting.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent
• Additional certifications in specialized areas are advantageous

Experience

• Experience in emergency nursing or critical care is preferred

• Wound Care Management
• IV Therapy

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Infection Control Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
