Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team in Durban. This role involves designing, conducting experiments, and analyzing results to develop novel chemical processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from conception through implementation.
• Perform cost analysis for new and existing processes.
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure product integrity.
• Investigate and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to feasibility studies and risk assessments.
• Facilitate communication between different departments.
• Document all project activities and outcomes for future reference.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the chemical sector
