Job Description

As a Pharmacist at HealthFirst Pharmacy, you will play a critical role in patient care by ensuring safe and effective medication use. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret prescription orders to ensure therapeutic appropriateness.
  • Conduct patient health screenings and promote wellness programs.
  • Manage adverse drug reaction reporting and patient safety initiatives.
  • Contribute to pharmacy policy development and implementation.
  • Assist in clinical trials and research studies when applicable.
  • Engage in continuing education and professional development activities.
  • Provide support to healthcare teams with drug information and therapeutic decisions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy is an advantage
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a community pharmacy setting
