Job Description

Animal Care Solutions is looking for an experienced Veterinarian to join our dynamic and compassionate team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality veterinary services, collaborating with our team to ensure that all animals receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations of animals.
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.
  • Perform surgical procedures and assist in emergency cases.
  • Educate pet owners on preventive care and wellness.
  • Keep accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to enhance patient care.
  • Participate in outreach and community education programs.
  • Stay updated with latest veterinary practices and advancements.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registration with the South African Veterinary Council
  • Postgraduate qualifications will be advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a veterinary practice
