Responsibilities
Administer first-aid to individuals who have been injured or taken ill.
Respond promptly to emergency situations, including accidents and incidents.
Complete incident reports, detailing injuries and treatment provided.
Maintain first-aid kits, ensuring all supplies are current and adequately stocked.
Assist in training employees on workplace safety protocols.
Perform health and safety inspections of the workplace.
Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure ongoing care.
Encourage a culture of safety in the workplace through proactive practices.
Requirements
Education
Matric Certificate or equivalent
Valid CPR and First Aid Certifications
Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
1-2 years of experience in a first-aid or emergency response role
