Job Description

As an EEG Technologist, you will play a vital role in the healthcare team by performing electroencephalogram tests, providing vital diagnostic data, and collaborating with physicians to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EEG tests with precision and accuracy, ensuring patient comfort.
• Document and analyze test results, preparing detailed reports for medical professionals.
• Engage in teamwork with healthcare providers to create effective treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards regarding EEG procedures.
• Continuously learn and implement improvements in EEG testing methodologies.
• Assist with the training of junior technicians and interns in EEG procedures.
• Manage patient records using medical software and electronic records systems.
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare colleagues.

Requirements

Education

• Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferable

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in EEG procedures and analysis

Certifications

• Basic Life Support Certification

Languages

• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous
