Job Description

As a Building Rental Superintendent, your role will be crucial in managing a diverse portfolio of rental properties. You will oversee the maintenance and repair activities, foster positive tenant relations, manage rent collection, and handle lease renewals. Your expertise will ensure that our properties are not only well-maintained but also appealing to our tenants.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and perform property inspections and ensure compliance.
  • Respond to tenant inquiries and manage tenant relations effectively.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and oversee repairs.
  • Prepare financial reports and manage budgeting for property upkeep.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of rent collections and tenant agreements.
  • Negotiate lease terms and ensure tenant satisfaction.
  • Conduct market analysis to set competitive rents.
  • Encourage tenant engagement and community building.
  • Organize and facilitate property viewings.
  • Work closely with vendors to obtain competitive service quotes.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric/Grade 12 Certificate
  • Relevant diploma or degree in property management or a related field
Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in property management or a related field
