Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Revolution Engineering Ltd., you will be central to the advancement of our engineering projects. You'll utilize your expertise in mechanical design and product development to lead projects from initial concepts through to fabrication. We're seeking an individual with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative mechanical systems tailored to customer needs.
• Use FEA and CFD analysis tools for better design performance.
• Engage in cross-functional teamwork on complex engineering challenges.
• Maintain and update design records and databases.
• Review compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Provide estimates for project delivery timelines and costs.
• Participate in client meetings to present designs and solicit feedback.
• Lead the design verification and validation phases.
• Keep track of budget constraints during project design phases.
• Mentor junior staff and facilitate knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a mechanical design environment

Technical Skills

• ProE/CREO
• 3D CAD Software
• Project Management

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Leadership

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of rapid prototyping techniques: Experience with techniques such as 3D printing or CNC machining.
