Job Description

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality healthcare services in Johannesburg. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, administer treatments, and educate patients about their health. We expect you to be proactive, empathetic, and well-organized in this challenging yet rewarding position.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support
• Conduct health screenings and routine assessments
• Assist in surgical procedures and recovery care when required
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes promptly
• Educate patients on post-discharge care instructions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
• Maintain a tidy and organized healthcare environment
• Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Advanced diploma in nursing is a plus

Experience

• Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred

Technical Skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Electronic Health Records (EHR)

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Teamwork

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS): ACLS certification is preferred for emergency responses.
• Proficiency in a second language: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
