Job Description

As a Veterinarian at Local Veterinary Clinic, you will provide diagnostics, treatment, and surgical care for various animals. You will be responsible for communicating effectively with pet owners and educating them about their pet's health needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess animal health and develop treatment plans.
• Take x-rays and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Guide pet owners in preventative care practices.
• Assist in a variety of veterinary procedures including surgeries.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Work with specialists for advanced animal treatments.
• Engage in community education on responsible pet ownership.
• Participate in collaborative case reviews to improve patient outcomes.
• Manage client communications effectively.
• Support clinic staff in daily operational tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Postgraduate qualifications in veterinary specialties are preferred

• 3+ years of experience in clinical settings
