Job Description

As a Silica Filter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the silica filtration systems essential for our manufacturing processes. You will ensure high-quality outcomes through rigorous quality checks and collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the performance of silica filtration systems and make necessary adjustments.
• Report any abnormalities or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist in compliance audits and inspections for operational excellence.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency.
• Provide support to new team members and assist in their training.
• Maintain inventories of consumables required for filtration operations.
• Contribute to team meetings focused on production improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma in a relevant field
• Higher qualification is a plus.

Experience

• 2-5 years of related experience in filtration systems or similar processes

• Mechanical aptitude

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
