Job Description

As a Foundry Mold and Coremaker, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining sand molds for metal castings, ensuring they meet precise customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily production targets.
• Train and mentor junior staff on molding processes and safety standards.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
• Follow all company policies and procedures strictly.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on molding equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Further qualifications in foundry technology is an advantage

Experience

• Experience with automated molding systems is beneficial

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of metallurgy
• Operating molding machines

Certifications

• Safety training certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
