Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our dedicated team in Durban. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and supporting talent acquisition strategies. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture and enhancing employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, and exit.
  • Advise managers on HR best practices and employee relations issues.
  • Continuously develop HR policies and practices to align with strategic goals.
  • Participate in health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with related legislation.
  • Create and maintain employee records and HR databases.
  • Provide mentorship to junior HR staff and interns.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR initiatives meet organizational goals.
  • Monitor and report on HR trends and metrics to senior management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with HR focus
  • MBA or related qualification is advantageous
