Join our team in Johannesburg as a Cybersecurity Analyst, where your main responsibilities will include monitoring network traffic, responding to security incidents, and enhancing our overall security strategy to protect sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security logs and identify potential threats.
• Implement and manage security technologies such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Coordinate with regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Participate in IT project planning to address security concerns early.
• Engage with third-party vendors for security assessments.
• Enhance incident response strategies based on lessons learned.
• Document security processes and procedures for internal compliance.
• Facilitate communication between teams regarding security policies.
• Provide occasional after-hours support or on-call availability.
• Assess the security posture of cloud services and applications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Relevant professional certifications are preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis and incident response
