Job Description

As an Underwriter at Insurance Solutions Co., you will be responsible for assessing risk and determining appropriate insurance terms. You will work closely with clients to ensure their insurance needs are met effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze data to ensure accurate underwriting decisions.
• Participate in discussions and presentations for complex risks.
• Identify emerging risks and trends to update underwriting strategy.
• Support marketing and acquisition efforts for new business.
• Foster strong relationships with brokers and agents.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance or Risk Management
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in insurance underwriting

Certifications

• Certified Underwriter (CU)
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
