Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Pharmacist to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing our pharmacy operations, ensuring high standards of patient care, and advising customers on medication use.

Responsibilities

• Process and fill prescriptions in accordance with legal requirements.
• Advise patients about drug interactions and contraindications.
• Manage pharmacy services to improve the patient experience.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with pharmacy policies.
• Participate in continuing education to keep current with new regulations and medications.
• Support drug utilization reviews to improve prescriptions.
• Promote health and wellness initiatives in the pharmacy.
• Assist in the development of patient care programs.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Pharmacy or related field preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting

• Advanced Pharmacotherapy Certificate

• Afrikaans: Conversational
