As a Medical Research Scientist in our growing Cape Town facility, you will spearhead critical research projects that directly impact patient health. You will analyze data, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and contribute to peer-reviewed publications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical research studies and trials to assess novel therapies.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of research processes.
• Foster partnerships with medical institutions for collaborative projects.
• Evaluate and refine existing research methodologies for improved results.
• Provide guidance to junior researchers and interns in lab practices.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Advanced training in research methodologies is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in clinical or medical research

Technical Skills

• Biostatistics
• Research Design

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Time Management

Certifications

• Clinical Research Coordinator Certification (CRCC)
• R&D Compliance Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with clinical trial registration processes: Knowledge of regulatory requirements for clinical study registration.
• Expertise in manuscript preparation: Proven ability to prepare and submit research manuscripts for publication.
