Job Description

The Combined Rail Operator will oversee the operation and maintenance of railway equipment, focusing on transporting goods and passengers safely. This role demands a keen understanding of safety protocols and the ability to respond promptly to operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections across different stages of jewelry production.
• Work closely with production teams to uphold quality standards.
• Use appropriate inspection equipment and tools for accurate assessments.
• Provide timely feedback and suggestions for quality improvements.
• Engage in ongoing training related to jewelry inspection techniques.
• Assist in developing and updating quality control procedures.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and productive team environment.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• Diploma in Jewelry Technology preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Jewelry manufacturing processes
• Inspection equipment operation

• Interpersonal skills

Certifications

• Quality Assurance Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in gemstone grading and identification: Knowledge and skill in evaluating the quality of gemstones.
• Familiarity with CAD and CAM technology: Understanding of design software for jewelry design and prototype development.
