Job Description

A Plexiglas Former is responsible for shaping sheets of Plexiglas into various forms and shapes using heat and specialized equipment. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all production targets and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain acrylic forming machinery.
• Read technical drawings and specifications for production tasks.
• Measure, cut, and shape acrylic sheets accurately.
• Inspect finished products for defects and report issues to the Quality Assurance team.
• Ensure efficiency in the production process and adherence to quality standards.
• Assist in training new employees on production techniques.
• Document production processes and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in acrylic forming or related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Experience with molding machines
• Familiarity with safety protocols

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in thermoforming techniques: Understanding of various thermoforming processes applicable to acrylic materials.
