Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Immunologist to join our research team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will focus on advancing our understanding of immune responses, contributing to innovative therapies, and conducting research projects aimed at developing new immunological treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate novel immunological therapies and interventions.
  • Conduct clinical trials for testing new immuno-therapeutics.
  • Report findings to stakeholders and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Mentor students and interns in immunological research methods.
  • Implement best practices for laboratory safety and quality control.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies on compliance matters.
  • Advise the research team on immunological trends and advancements.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Postgraduate qualification in Immunology is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years in clinical research or relevant field

  • Immunoassays and Laboratory Techniques

Certifications
  • Clinical Research Associate (CRA) certification
  • Certification in Immunology from a recognized institution
