Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic support and assessments to individuals managing various mental health conditions. Your expertise will contribute to developing effective treatment plans, ensuring our clients receive the highest level of care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform psychological tests and assessments.
  • Offer therapy to individuals dealing with trauma and emotional distress.
  • Work alongside a team of other health professionals for holistic care.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health issues.
  • Develop community outreach programs aimed at mental health awareness.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and modify them accordingly.
  • Attend and contribute to clinical meetings and case discussions.
  • Document all interactions and treatments in accordance with regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Additional training in trauma-informed care is a plus
Experience
  • At least 4 years of post-qualification experience
