Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mechanical design and be eager to tackle challenging projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects from concept to completion.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new designs.
• Develop prototypes and perform hands-on testing.
• Collaborate with suppliers and clients to meet project specifications.
• Document mechanical design processes and changes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering roles

Certifications

• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Skills in additive manufacturing: Knowledge in 3D printing processes and applications.
• Proficiency in GD&T: Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing standards.
