Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Biotech Research Scientist to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will lead research projects focused on developing novel biopharmaceuticals, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and researchers.

Responsibilities

• Lead innovative research projects focusing on drug discovery.
• Conduct literature reviews to inform experimental design.
• Ensure timely completion of research objectives and milestones.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies as needed.
• Support clinical trial preparations and related activities.
• Build partnerships with external research institutions.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of R&D initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related discipline
• Master's degree considered if accompanied by substantial industry experience

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in biotechnology research

Languages

• English: Fluent
