Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and energetic Childcare Worker to join our team in Stellenbosch. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising children, facilitating playtime activities, and providing educational support. The ideal candidate is patient and passionate about early childhood development.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in educational games and activities.
• Support developmental needs through tailored individual attention.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning up educational materials.
• Participate in continuous training and development workshops.
• Implement health and safety protocols to ensure the children's safety.
• Provide crisis management as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Additional certifications in child development or psychology preferred

Experience

• 2+ years' experience in a childcare setting or similar role

Certifications

• Registered Early Childhood Educator certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
