We are seeking a passionate and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing mechanical systems, with a strong focus on optimization and efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams in the development of mechanical systems.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
• Analyze test data and modify designs based on results.
• Coordinate with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis

Technical Skills

• MATLAB
• FEA Software

• Leadership

Certifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with CNC programming: Experience in CNC machining and programming for manufacturing precision components.
• Experience in product testing and validation: Hands-on experience in testing and validating mechanical products.
