Job Description

We're looking for a Structural Engineer passionate about innovative design and sustainable practices. In this role, you will lead structural assessments and contribute to projects that enhance urban infrastructures throughout Pretoria.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and implementation of structural engineering projects.
• Provide engineering support to project management and commercial teams.
• Review project proposals and ensure technical feasibility.
• Evaluate structural failures and provide corrective measures.
• Collaborate with local authorities to ensure compliance with relevant guidelines.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on engineering practices.
• Conduct site visits to ensure engineering standards are met during construction.
• Stay updated with industry innovations and technological advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in structural engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Structural Analysis
• AutoCAD
• Revit

Certifications

• PrEng (Professional Engineer)
• Certification in Structural Engineering (C.Eng)

Languages

• English: Fluent
