Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects from initiation to execution.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for material procurement.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure quality assurance throughout the design and manufacturing processes.
• Utilize advanced CAD software for design and modeling.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) registration is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the field of mechanical engineering

• Autodesk Inventor

• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate
