Job Description

We are on the hunt for an experienced Food and Beverage Manager in Durban. You will manage all aspects of our food and beverage services, from staffing to budgeting and menu creation. If you have a strong background in hospitality and a flair for customer service, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge of current trends in food and beverage services.
  • Develop strategies to increase sales and customer retention.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team on menu development.
  • Conduct regular inspections of dining areas and kitchens.
  • Assist in the hiring and onboarding process for new team members.
  • Lead initiatives to promote sustainability in food sourcing.
  • Engage with customers to refine service offerings based on feedback.
  • Manage reservations and guest inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust operations accordingly.
  • Support senior management in strategic planning and development.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management preferred

  • 5+ years in various food and beverage roles
