Job Description

A cellar worker is responsible for assisting in the production, fermentation, and maturation of wine, while also maintaining equipment and facilities. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the winemaking team in grape harvesting and sorting.
  • Operate and maintain winery machinery.
  • Assist in managing wine fermentation and aging processes.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, tanks, and barrels.
  • Perform routine cellar tasks as directed.
  • Aid in the blending and tasting processes.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control standards.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Experience in wine production or related field is preferred.

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous
