Job Description

We are seeking a Research Scientist to join our dynamic team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting experiments and analyzing data to contribute to our innovative projects. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop solutions that have a real impact in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct innovative research in line with company goals and strategies.
• Collaborate with external partners and institutions.
• Present research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Utilize statistical software for data analysis.
• Develop protocols for laboratory experiments and ensure adherence.
• Participate in scientific conferences and workshops.
• Assist in the design and implementation of experiments.
• Collect and manage samples in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot experimental procedures.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of research projects.

Requirements

Education

• PhD in Life Sciences or a related discipline
• Post-doctoral experience is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant research experience
