Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Social Worker to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. In this role, you will provide support and guidance to individuals and families facing various life challenges. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and connecting clients with necessary resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally sensitive support and counseling to clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Lead community outreach efforts to raise awareness about available social services.
• Develop educational materials and resources for clients and their families.
• Facilitate training sessions for interns and volunteers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work
• Master's degree in Social Work is a strong advantage

Experience

• 2+ years in a social work position or related capacity

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
