Job Description

As a Social Worker at Community Support Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals and families, promoting their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. You will assess client needs, provide counseling, and develop programs aimed at facilitating positive change within the community.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate client social, emotional, and environmental needs.
• Facilitate therapy sessions aimed at improving clients' psychological well-being.
• Create and maintain collaborative relationships with other service providers.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary.
• Document all interactions and maintain detailed case files.
• Engage in community outreach to promote awareness of services.
• Help clients access financial, educational, and health resources.
• Offer support to families dealing with trauma or socioeconomic challenges.
• Report and analyze community needs to guide program development.
• Participate in workshops and training to enhance skills in social work.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW)
• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in social work or related field
