UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled UX/UI Designer to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for designing user-centric interfaces and ensuring a delightful user experience. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other team members to create engaging and effective digital products.

Responsibilities

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide design solutions.
• Assist in the creation of branding materials to maintain a consistent visual identity.
• Ensure all designs are responsive and work across various devices.
• Mentor junior designers and provide design critiques to improve team outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Visual Design or related field

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design, working with agile teams

Technical Skills

• User Research
• Prototyping Tools (InVision, Axure)

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Attention to Detail

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with design sprints: Knowledge of design sprint methodologies for rapid prototyping and testing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments, contributing to iterative design processes.
