Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Policy Analyst to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in policy development, research, and evaluation. You will contribute to the creation of informed policies that address critical social issues.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze various policy issues affecting communities.
• Contribute to strategic planning and policy formulation.
• Evaluate the socio-economic impact of policies.
• Engage stakeholders through presentations and consultations.
• Write and edit policy papers and publications.
• Prepare briefs for senior management and government officials.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or equivalent
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in policy analysis.

Technical Skills

• Statistical Software (e.g., SPSS, Stata)
• Policy Frameworks

Soft Skills

• Report Writing
• Interpersonal Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Economic Indicators: Understanding of how economic factors influence policy decisions.
