HR Compliance Officer

Job Description

We are seeking an HR Compliance Officer to join our dedicated team in Sandton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing compliance programs that align with both internal policies and external regulations. You'll play a critical role in advising management on compliance risks and maintaining high ethical standards throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enhance existing compliance processes and tools.
• Conduct investigations of compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in preparing for compliance audits and inspections.
• Stay informed about changes in HR laws and regulations.
• Work closely with the HR team to develop a culture of compliance.
• Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of compliance programs.
• Ensure all HR staff are trained on compliance-related issues.
• Engage in community outreach to promote compliance awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Human Resources or Law is preferred
• Additional certifications related to compliance are beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in HR compliance or corporate governance

• Familiarity with HRIS applications: Experience using Human Resource Information Systems for compliance tracking.
