UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated UX Designer to join our creative team in Cape Town. You will play a vital role in shaping the user experience for our clients by conducting user research, developing personas, and creating wireframes and prototypes. You will also be involved in user testing, providing insights to improve designs further. If you have a keen eye for detail and are passionate about design, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Lead user experience design projects from inception to completion.
• Create detailed specifications and documentation for design projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
• Utilize design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, and Figma.
• Identify and troubleshoot design challenges during the development phase.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• User testing
• Information architecture

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Agile methodologies: Familiarity with working in Agile teams and processes.
• Knowledge of design systems: Experience in developing or maintaining design systems.
