Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our Johannesburg team. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our processes. You should possess a strong analytical mindset and be adept at problem-solving, leveraging data to drive decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis to track and improve supply chain KPIs.
• Work with the operations team to enhance processes and service levels.
• Assist in project management for supply chain initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations in supply chain activities.
• Develop relationships with suppliers to enhance collaboration.
• Participate in training and development for supply chain team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain analysis with a proven track record

Technical Skills

• Supply Chain Software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Forecasting Methods

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with demand planning tools: Hands-on experience with tools like SAP IBP or Oracle SCM Cloud.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards: Understanding of regulations affecting supply chain operations.
