We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and development, along with the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world challenges. You'll be working on a variety of engineering projects that focus on innovation and quality.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative mechanical systems and optimize existing components.
• Lead projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers for sourcing materials and components.
• Implement project management best practices to drive project success.
• Facilitate training sessions for team members on new technologies.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all engineering processes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align on project goals.
• Utilize prototyping and testing to validate engineering concepts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the mechanical industry

Technical Skills

• Autodesk Inventor
• Project Management Software

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
