Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow of goods from suppliers to customers in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating logistics operations, liaising with suppliers, and optimizing supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day logistics operations to ensure efficiency.
• Develop logistics strategies to meet company objectives.
• Manage supplier contracts and negotiate rates.
• Track shipments and resolve any issues that arise.
• Ensure safe handling of goods and compliance with safety protocols.
• Assist in forecasting and budget management related to logistics.
• Provide training and support to junior staff on logistics processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Additional certifications in logistics or supply chain are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination
