Job Description

Join our team in Pretoria as a Mechanical Technician where you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our mechanical systems. The right candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, be detail-oriented, and possess a proactive approach to solving mechanical issues. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure high-quality standards in our operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the engineering team in new product development.
• Oversee installation processes and ensure proper operation.
• Analyze mechanical failures and propose solutions.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to project planning.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools critical for operations.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Project Management

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Time Management

Certifications

• Registered Engineer (PrEng)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with ISO Standards: Knowledge of ISO quality standards in the engineering field.
