Conductor

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Conductor to ensure the safe and efficient movement of passengers on our trains and trams. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting pre-departure checks, assisting passengers, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring passengers are satisfied with their experience.
• Monitor train performance and report any issues to the train driver.
• Collect and check tickets, and assist passengers with boarding and disembarking.
• Manage on-board facilities, such as refreshments and toilets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of train movements and incidents.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• Valid Code 8 or 10 driver's license

Experience

• Experience working with trains or trams is highly desirable.

Certifications

• First Aid and Fire Fighting Certification

Languages
